Comment:
If the axis player knows what he does a balanced scenario, even if it doesn´t look like at the first glance :-).
Allies may be 3:1 superior in ressources, but since France will fall after only a few turns and Axis can liberate/conquer Balkan (Romania, Yugoslavia, Albania etc.) within the first 1-2 turns this will soon be more even. Still Allies ~200mpps/turn ahead, but Axis has more and better units at the beginning as well as the better strategic position. So it should be an interesting footrace for Axis to conquer the necessary ressources and important strategic points fast enough before the industrial might of Allies and especially the later joining USA will crush them :-).

This scenario starts with a more realistic OOB including Bismark, Hood, Graf Spee together with Ajax and Achilles near Montevideo. Also the 8th army starts in Egypt under Wavell.
France has been strengthened indirectly and can buy armies, corps, tanks or HQ to build up the appropriate defense. To allow the player to choose his strategie, this has been done in form of mpps. With british reinforcements in Egypt, a Mediteranean strategie will be possible, so the situation will be more historical. The increased italian war readiness should discourage a LC gambit. Another target of this scenario is to be able to play without bids.
Comment:
Fall Weiss variant with changed OOBs in Poland/France, more ships for both sides and especially the Allies to simulate the naval warfare better. With the additional troops in Egypt, a mediteranean strategie will be possible. Nevertheless, like in the original Fall Weiss you need an appropriate bid for more experienced players to balance the scenario.

Another version of Fall Weiss. Germany DoWs Polen and Denmark mid 1939 to expand its territories. While Denmark already surrendered, the battle in Poland is prolonged. Ireland joined Allies out of fear for its country. Germany developed modernized subs, tanks and airfleets and also owns experienced HQ´s (2 medals). On the other side english troops plan an invasion of Africa, reinforced their forces in Egypt and started moving their fleet. Both England and Germany built many new troops.
Comment:
Like in the original Fall Weiss you need an appropriate - and here much higher - bid to balance the scenario. It provides a French campaign without risks for Axis, but on the other hand more possibilities for Allies in the Med. Especially if played with DoW on Italy allowed. Germany is technologically and in numbers superior, so they can choose if they allow Allies a LC gambit to bring in Italy early or to attack it themselves in turn 1. Both ways Germany can´t be stopped in France since their starting forces are too strong - and with russian readiness also reduced by 10%, Allies need a much larger bid than normal to compensate for this.

The Allies are faster than the Germans and begin the 2.WW. Switzerland get assaultet by French troops and Poland occupy Königsberg. In the Mediterranean Sea the British surprise with an attack on Tunis. The Italians therefore declare war on the Allies.

A Storm blows over Europe. Germany has war with Spain, CSSR and Poland. For this reason the British an the French are already at war.
Comment:
On long distance pro Axis if the Allies cannot delay the fall of Poland and France. The Axis-confederate don?t join, but Spain practically belongs to the Axis and the Russian Warreadiness is low. Russia and USA are weak at declaration of war.

This scenario is a little bit pro-Allied. The Allies have to begin nearly the double mpp of the Axis each turn for disposal. A static warfare is therefore the end of the Axis. However if the Axis consequently plans her actions, keeps on moving and beats on the the right front, the Axis can conquer enough resources to turn the war and achieve a victory. victory. |

Besides the revolutionists won in Spain and they await to gain more power.
For this reason Swiss leave there neutrality and joins the Allies. |

All generals which have played Fall Weiss many times will have realized, that the Axis gets very easy to strong in armory and industrial capacity.
With the modification this effect is corrected. The modified version of Fall Weiss is recommended for generals which like balanced power between Axis and Allies.
Comment:
Germany should conquer France and Poland relatively easily.
On long distance well balanced because of higher mpp/turn for UK and strong USA/Russia. |

Comment:
Lots of units on both sides. Poland surrender nearly always in the first round. France will fall in record time (technically and outnumbered, i.e. no chance). For better balance the US/Russ. warreadiness is higher. Longterm are the 7 !! carrier of UK (+ many airfleets) crucial. If the allied player knows a little what he can do with them, the Axis have no chance. But this depends on his skill , if he gets his carrier sunken, the whole thing will be strongly pro Axis (technically superior and extremely strong landunits) because Russia is very weak and the Allies can only win with their superiority in airpower. |

It is a bit harder to conquer France for the Axis (if they assault on LC, what Germany cannot prevent. And since Italy is already at war, why not...). But after this there will probably be some interesting battles in the Mediterranean Sea. |

This campaign is like Fall Weiss. But the Alies have more units in Egypt, so the defence of this area will not be hopeless. Furthermore Poland is a bit stronger and is supported by british infantry.

Some cosmetic changes + some units in Egypt, but the russian readiness for war is lower.

Stalins chance 1940
The german power is spread over all parts of Europe, so Stalin wants to take the opportunity. While Germany starts to crush France from Netherlands and Spain and large parts of its troops are busy in the Mediteranean, Stalin starts an offensive in Poland. Additionally the red army is standing in front of Finland and Romania. But the germans prove to resist unexpectedly in Poland and Manstein with his armies is ready in the middle east. If he manages to conquer Baghdad and Cairo in time and pacify this front, Stalins plans backfire perhaps.
Comment:
Both sides have a lot of possibilities at several fronts (Spain, Africa, Middle East, Caucasus, Skandinavia and Poland/Romania - not to mention the naval battle that is totally open...) - Decissive will be to set the right priorities. A very good debut feature from Aenima :-).
